Room 2 pupils enjoy their daily exercise programme followed by the learning programmes developed by the multi-disclipinary team model or approach. We are ably supported by the school's psychologist, OT and SLTs.
We enjoy implementing effective teaching and learning programmes that are personalised to meet individual needs.
By integrating the term's learning focus of 'water' into daily lessons a coherent programme enhances motivation and interest.
This is the second year that this model of teaching and learning (intensive PE, integrated therapist support and specialised oral language development) has been implemented with this cohort of pupils. The results have impressed the team members and we are focused on ensuring that the gains made continue.
