Term 4 2017:

This term has been very busy with lots of art work, getting ready for our exhibition. We have done some cooking too. We made trick banana cupcakes, pink icing that tastes like lemons! We have been making a Hatupatu rock and also cooked some Hatupatu Rockcakes.

Term 3 2107:

We loved the concert and had fun dressing up and twirling our glow pois and ribbons.

A sneak preview of our concert costumes... Bruno Mars!

Here are our Matariki pictures.

Term 2: 2017

During term 2 we looked at the legend of our Lake Taupo and enjoyed reading and listening to the story. We did some cool art based around the legend.

We finished our "Battle of the Mountains" pictures too.

We like working with our therapists.

We loved having Room 1 Kea St visit us in Taupo!

We all dressed up for pyjama day!

The autumn leaves piled up in our playground so we got to have fun with those.

Term 1: 2017

Te Manu loves reading "The Gingerbread Man" so we decided we should have a gingerbread day. We made gingerbread men, watched gingerbread men songs and stories then read the book again.

We have had a lovely start to our term. We had great fun destroying the igloo from last year and played for ages! We then took all the bottles up the recycling centre!

We have doing lots of sensory work, using tactile items and using our communication boards.
