WHPS - Room 7 News

Kia Ora, Hello, 你好Nǐ hǎo, Talofa, Bula 

 The amazing students in Room 7 this year are: Matthew, Tukino, Jupiter, Brodie, Harvey and Roni.  6 boys and 1 girl.

Teacher: Kathy Scott   Teacher Aides: Liza, Leanne and Maia.

Every term we base our learning and experiences on a specific topic focus, and work on our set IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at our own individual levels.

Our Community involvement includes swimming at the Aquatic Centre, taking out our book of choice at the Rotorua Public Library, have morning tea at our favourite Public Park and enjoying the playground. We also learn Gymnastics skills at M.I.G.s.  

Our weekly programme consists of learning to cook, basic dinners and lunches, nurturing and caring for our class vegetable garden, and working with our mainstream buddies in PE, Cooking and Whole School Assembly.

Each week we look forward to seeing our Speech Language Therapist (Chenelle), our Occupational Therapists (Pearl) our Physiotherapist (Karen) and our other teachers of Te Reo (Aiden), and Music (Phil).
